• You will support DVM students to build essential clinical skills through supervised rotations and practical teaching activities.
• You will work across leading clinical sites, guiding safe animal handling and nursing practices in multi-species settings.

What you will deliver

• Provide practical support to DVM students during clinical rotations at Greencross Veterinary Hospital and The Lost Dogs’ Home.
• Assemble and support clinical skills training, assessments and simulation-based teaching across key veterinary species and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain anaesthesia, surgical teaching and animal handling resources, ensuring equipment, models and stock meet best-practice standards.
• Uphold animal care ethics, patient safety and infection-control requirements, supporting veterinarians and students before and after surgery.
• Build strong relationships with clinical partners, contribute to service improvements, and participate in governance, meetings and training.

You may be a great fit if you

• Hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent, with proven experience in clinical veterinary practice.
• Demonstrate confidence in handling cats, dogs and horses, and assisting safely with a range of clinical procedures.
• Support training and supervision of students or staff, preferably within veterinary clinical skills or teaching environments.
• Manage clinical spaces, equipment, medicines and consumables, maintaining accurate patient records and documentation to high standards.
• Apply Occupational Health and Safety practices in clinical settings, prioritising animal welfare, student safety and regulatory compliance.
• Embrace working across multiple sites and rotations, adapting to changing demands and collaborating within an experienced multidisciplinary team.
