Team & Context

At Murex, Analytical Consultants contribute to the quantitative foundations of solutions useddailyacross global financialmarkets.

Depending on your assignment, you may join teams specializing in financial engineering, advanced analytics, risk methodologies, quantitative validation, market data, optimization or innovation. Working alongside quantitative researchers, product specialists, software engineers and financial experts, you will help design, assess and improve analytical frameworks supporting trading, risk management and investment decisions.

From pricingcomplexfinancial instruments to validatingriskmethodologies and exploring new analyticalapproaches, yourworkwillcontributedirectly to the evolution of MX.3 and the solutions delivered to financial institutions worldwide.

Your missions/What you’ll do?

Following an onboarding program covering financial markets, quantitative finance and the MX.3 platform, you will contribute to projects combining mathematical modelling, analytical thinking and technology. Dependingon yourassignment, you may:

Analyze complexfinancial and quantitative challenges and design analyticalsolutions;

Develop, validate and benchmark models, methodologies and analyticalframeworks;

-

Build prototypes, testing environments and data-driventoolsusing modern technologies;

-

Collaboratewith quantitative researchers, productspecialists and software engineers to enhance Murex solutions;

-

Explore innovative topics in quantitative finance, risk analytics, optimization and artificial intelligence, and present your findings to experts and stakeholders.

No two internships are exactly the same. Each assignment is built around a real analytical challenge and provides exposure to both advanced quantitative techniques and real-world financial applications.

Your profile/Who you are?

Final-year student from an Engineering School or equivalent Master's degree (a specialization in quantitative fields is a plus).

Strong academic background in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Data Science, Physics, Engineering or Computer Science.

-

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-

Interest in financial markets, modelling, analytics and technology.

-

Experience with Python or similar programming languages.

-

Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

-

Curious, rigorous and eager to learn.

-

Fluency in English is required. French is a plus depending on the team.
