Senior Specialist, Client Coverage (Korea Asset Servicing)

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of to join our Asset Servicing Client Coverage team. This role is located in Korea (Seoul).

The Assistant Relationship Manager supports Seoul Asset Servicing relationship management activities for local clients in connection with BNY’s Asset Servicing business. The role provides coordination, communication, and follow- up support between Korean clients and BNY offshore teams to help ensure effective client engagement and high-quality servicing.

The role supports incremental commercial activities including client meeting preparation, reporting, follow-up actions, and market insight.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways

• Support Seoul relationship managers and offshore teams in managing client relationships related to Asset Servicing Business.
• Coordinate communication and follow-up between Korean clients and offshore teams.
• Prepare client materials, meeting notes, presentations, briefings, and internal reports.
• Assist with scheduling client meetings, senior management visits, and related relationship management activities.
• Provide local market insight and factual client information to support account planning and engagement.
• Monitor client developments and service matters, and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Support collection and follow-up of client feedback, service concerns, and complaint-related matters.
• Liaise with client service, operations, product, implementation, legal, compliance, risk, and other internal teams to support client priorities.
• Maintain accurate client records, activity tracking, and internal reporting data.
• Support documentation collection and administrative processes, including KYC-related requirements where applicable.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5~10 years of relevant experience in financial services preferred, ideally in securities services, asset servicing, custody, client service, implementation, product support, or operations.
• Experience supporting institutional clients is preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
• Fluency in Korean and English required.
• Understanding of the Korean financial market and institutional client environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Asset Servicing / Global Custody business is advantageous.
