<p>We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Assistant to support Supersonic Studios through a remarkable period of growth. You will keep the day-to-day books accurate and up to date - processing transactions, reconciling accounts and making sure every entry lands in the right place, on time.</p>
<p>This is a hands-on role with real ownership of the ledger. You will be the person who keeps the financial records clean, supports the monthly close and makes the process a little smoother each cycle.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p><strong>Day-to-Day Bookkeeping</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain the general ledger, posting journals, accruals and prepayments accurately and on schedule.</li>
<li>Process accounts payable and accounts receivable end to end - invoices, supplier payments, customer receipts and credit notes.</li>
<li>Perform bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and clearing differences promptly.</li>
<li>Support the monthly close by preparing schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation for the finance team.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Compliance & Local Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Keep accurate, well-organised records and audit trails across the ledger.</li>
<li>Prepare and submit routine filings for the Israeli entity, working alongside external accountants and advisors (VAT, withholding tax and related returns).</li>
<li>Provide supporting documentation and schedules for the annual audit.</li>
<li>Process payroll accounting entries and employee expense claims, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Systems & Ways of Working</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Use accounting systems and tools to keep bookkeeping accurate, timely and efficient.</li>
<li>Suggest and help implement improvements to day-to-day finance processes.</li>
<li>Support data accuracy across finance and commercial systems.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven track record of maintaining a full set of books in a busy finance function.</li>
<li>Solid working knowledge of AP, AR, bank reconciliations and VAT reporting.</li>
<li>Strong Excel skills and confidence working in accounting software.</li>
<li>Clear written and verbal communication in English, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.</li>
<li>Fluent Hebrew for day-to-day work with local advisors, payroll and authorities.</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach to deadlines.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Good to Have</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in gamedev, mobile apps, SaaS or another technology business.</li>
<li>Experience with tools such as NetSuite, Xero, or Hashavshevet.</li>
<li>Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-currency international group.</li>
<li>Exposure to automating routine finance workflows.</li>
