<p>FLIP Technologies SRL (<em>as of now “FLIP”</em>) is building its next wave of growth. After successfully establishing itself as the principal refurbished electronics e-commerce in CEE (commanding the segment in RO, BG, HU, GR), it is time to build a new growth engine through External Marketplaces, amongst others.</p>
<p>As <strong>Head of Marketplaces</strong>, you will be responsible for setting up the Business Unit  and spearheading its development into a <strong>key growth pillar</strong> to support our main mission: <em>Be the player that provides the most value to consumers across Europe</em>. You will be reporting into the Chief Growth Officer and have <strong>full oversight and execution over the Marketplaces BU</strong> (incl. P&L ownership, co-building operational flows, integrations, commercial strategy & execution, in which marketplaces and countries to operate & in which not).</p>
<p>Together with the Demand & Growth team you will partner to grow and establish this business in FLIP in order to cement our position as the leading refurbished electronics marketplace in CEE.</p>

<ul>
<li><strong>Setting the business up</strong>: currently we are only scratching the surface - we are looking for someone that combines the <em>BUILDER</em> and the <em>OPERATOR</em></li>
<li><strong>P&L Responsibility</strong>, accountable to the CGO, to deliver GMV / Volume / Profit targets.</li>
<li>Work together with<strong> cross-functional teams</strong> (OPS, Commercial, PDT/Tech, CS, FIN) to deliver a seamless experience to our customers and partners in 3P.</li>
<li>Find <strong>untapped opportunities</strong> for growth in the segment (what countries, what marketplaces, what integrations), <strong>assess opportunities</strong> (incl. Having the right portfolio and price) and execute.</li>
<li><strong>Be extremely involved</strong> in day-to-day operations and focus on executing the plan on-time and in-full.</li>
<li><strong>Listen to customers & partners</strong>, sense market sentiment and gather industry insights to feedback into Business Plans.</li>
<li><strong>Analyse, track & propose corrective actions</strong> for assigned KPIs.</li>
<li>Sign-on and manage partners, keep close to X-Functional teams & look for continuous improvements in Operational Flows.</li>
<li>Attend and participate in Growth Key Planning cycles, Industry specific & Partner events.</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color: rgb(0, 130, 230);"><strong>Experience and Background:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>5+ years in commercial management</strong> or analysis, e-commerce management, management consulting, or a similar role in a data-intensive environment.</li>
<li><strong>E-commerce, marketplace, or retail background is a strong advantage</strong>; understanding of refurbished or recommerce even better.</li>
<li><strong>Strong analytical toolkit</strong>: you can take a set of complex data and manage to derive clear insights from it.</li>
<li>Comfortable in creating better/worse scenarios / driver-decomposition and trade-off models (for example price versus volume, mix versus margin etc.)</li>
<li><strong>Track record of presenting complex analysis to senior stakeholders</strong>: you know how to tell a story with data, not just show a table.</li>
<li>Cross-functional experience across multiple departments, with the <strong>ability to navigate competing priorities.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment;</strong> you do not wait for perfect data to form a view.</li>
<li>Fluency in English is required; Romanian is a strong plus.</li>
