Contingency Control Room Operator

We are currently seeking a Contingency Control Room Operator to support our busy Teesside-based Emergency Control Room on an ad hoc cover basis. This role is designed to provide flexible operational cover for periods of annual leave, sickness absence, training commitments, and other staffing requirements. As part of our contingency team, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain the smooth and effective operation of our emergency response services, providing both planned and short-notice cover when required. The ideal candidate will have previous control room, dispatch, or emergency coordination experience, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication and decision-making skills. We are looking for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and willing to support the team when operational demands arise.
