Environmental Services Aide

The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for providing a clean and sanitary facility for all patients, residents, visitors, and staff in an efficient manner as directed by the department manager. FTE: 0.0; On-Call/Casual Work Schedule: Primarily available for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage, with the flexibility to pick up day shifts as needed. Required Qualifications: * Ability to follow oral and written instructions * Proficient in speaking and reading the English language * Ability to be on feet for an extended amount of time * Ability to lift, push and/ or pull up to 50 pounds * Ability to do excessive bending and physical movement * Good organizational skills * Knowledge of and ability to use all housekeeping powered equipment * Good time management skills * Able to demonstrate positive customer service skills Preferred Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent, prior equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of diploma * Healthcare housekeeping, laundry, linen and floor care experience
