YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE

We’re looking for a Production Coordinator to join our Production team in Cookeville, Tennessee. In this role, you’ll keep production schedules on track, make sure supervisors and Mendix stay informed on schedules and project releases, and own On Time Performance for SRS and Catalog orders. You’ll work closely with VDC, the Fab Material Coordinator, Sales, Customer Care, and our branches to keep upcoming projects and material lead times on schedule. This is an opportunity to be the coordination hub of a fast-paced fabrication facility, with direct visibility into how your work keeps projects on time and on spec.

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN

• Keep supervisors informed on production schedules and upcoming project releases.
• Attend all facility meetings and ensure information flows to Mendix and supervisors.
• Coordinate with VDC, the Fab Material Coordinator, Sales, Customer Care, and branches on upcoming projects and material lead times.
• Schedule projects within Mendix and confirm they meet drawing specifications.
• Partner with Production Supervisors, Training, and Engineering on special projects.
• Identify and resolve project issues in Mendix, working with the relevant parties to close them out.
• Manage all fabrication correspondence and status updates.
• Release orders per schedule and manage BPCS-related items.
• Own On Time Performance for SRS and Catalog.
• Partner with MFG Admin on runtimes and data entry.

WHAT YOU BRING

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows software and familiarity with SWI/SOP processes.
• Solid understanding of shop math and ability to use measuring tools.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and be self-motivated and detail-oriented.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

• Hands-on experience with ERP or scheduling systems such as Mendix or BPCS.
• Proven track record coordinating across production, sales, and branch teams to hit delivery deadlines.
• Experience driving On Time Performance improvements in a fabrication environment.
• Additional technical training or certification in manufacturing, scheduling, or production planning.
