Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Integration & Data Migration Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Integration & Data Migration Lead based in Switzerland.

This is a remote freelance opportunity focused on leading enterprise-scale EAM data migration and integration initiatives.The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise across complex transformation <programs.You> will own migration strategy, ETL design, data quality, reconciliation, rehearsal cycles, and production cutovers.Working across business and technical teams, you will translate EAM requirements into robust migration rules and specifications.The position requires strong knowledge of asset management processes, master data, and enterprise EAM <platforms.You> will play a critical role in reducing migration risk and ensuring accurate, audit-ready data throughout the transformation lifecycle.The engagement supports a major transformation within the pharmaceutical industry and requires 40 hours per week.

Accountabilities

Lead end-to-end EAM data migration workstreams for global and template-based rollouts, including mock loads, rehearsals, reconciliation activities, and final production cutovers.

Design, build, and oversee data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation processes using SQL and enterprise ETL or migration tools such as DSP, SAP BODS, or equivalent platforms.

Translate core EAM processes, including asset lifecycle management, preventive maintenance, work order management, scheduling and dispatch, and inventory and parts management, into detailed migration rules and mapping specifications.

Conduct fit-gap assessments and evaluate source and target data quality, establishing profiling, validation, and governance frameworks to minimize migration risks.

Coordinate business leads, functional consultants, technical developers, and data governance teams across complex, matrixed transformation programs.

Manage migration defects, reconciliation activities, and data quality issues through successive testing and rehearsal cycles to support successful go-live execution.

Provide clear technical direction and communicate migration strategy, risks, dependencies, and progress to business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

10+ years of experience leading EAM/ERP transformation initiatives and large-scale data migration programs.

Hands-on experience with at least one major EAM ecosystem, such as SAP PM/S/4HANA EAM, Hexagon EAM, IBM Maximo, or Oracle EAM/EBS.

Advanced SQL skills for data profiling, transformation, reconciliation, and validation, combined with practical experience using enterprise ETL or migration platforms such as DSP, SAP BODS, or similar tools.

Expert knowledge of EAM master data, including asset master data, maintenance master data, work management structures, and inventory/materials configurations.

Demonstrated experience managing multi-cycle mock migrations, rehearsal runs, error resolution, automated reconciliation, and production cutover planning.

Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, mapping specifications, and migration risk controls.

Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to lead technical teams and explain complex data strategies to business leadership.

Relevant certifications in SAP PM/EAM, Oracle, IBM Maximo, or enterprise data migration tools are preferred.
