About The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the month-end close process, preparation of financial statements, and continuous process improvements. You will have the opportunity to design processes, implement internal controls, and support system integration. - Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Support the implementation of accounting policies and best practices, and identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the close process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting processes and systems, and serve as a liaison between the accounting team and other departments.
- We are looking for a reliable problem solver, someone who can demonstrate the ability to identify issues, develop scalable solutions, and operate with a high level of autonomy
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 3+ years of experience
- Prior NetSuite experience preferred
- Previous Aerospace and Defense experience a plus
- Analytical with exceptional problem-solving skills, high degree of ownership, and a strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with government contract accounting, FAR accounting standards, and DCAA compliance is a plus
- CPA a plus
- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
