Health Care Coordinator

Sandhill Cove, an upscale senior living community, is seeking a hospitality-minded professional administrative assistant for staffing coordination in a 56-bed health center. The successful candidate is looking for a rewarding experience working with older adults to join our extraordinary team. Preferred experience working in a luxury setting, must possess excellent hospitality skills, be warm, respectful, detail oriented, and passionate about their work.

Shift: PT Schedule for 20-25 hours. Could be 5/4s, 4/5s or 3/6.5s spread from Monday to Friday - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. May include weekends, holidays, on-call staffing support in an emergency.

Essential job functions

• Coordinate and maintain staffing schedules to ensure adequate clinical and non-clinical coverage in accordance with facility needs, regulatory requirements, resident acuity levels, and budgetary guidelines.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute employee schedules; monitor staffing levels; coordinate coverage with administration for call-offs and vacancies; maintain staffing records; communicate schedule changes; monitor overtime and agency utilization; assist with staffing software.
• Serve as liaison regarding scheduling; process time-off requests and shift trades; maintain employee availability records; notify staff of open shifts.
• Maintain attendance and staffing documentation; generate daily staffing reports; support onboarding scheduling.

HS Diploma or GED required. Healthcare scheduling experience preferred. Experience and knowledge of basic office skills required.
Starting hourly rate: $20.00
