2nd shift T-car operator

2nd Shift(3pm-11pm)

• $21.03 per hour
• Transfer Car operators report to converting supervisors.

Support in Stacker operator duties and responsibilities

• -
• following all safety rules and procedures;
• -
• reading factory work orders and corrugator schedules to learn customer specifications;
• -
• verifying (measuring) sheets to insure that sheet sizes and score locations conform to customer specifications;
• -
• identifying sheets with chalk-written order numbers and/or load tags;
• -
• moving sheets off the stacker conveyors on to the transfer cart and onto the converting or sheet conveyors;
• -
• banding units of sheets;
• -
• Removing, asiding, and identifying nonconforming materials (warp, loose, out-of-line, etc.);
• -
• maintaining clean and organized work areas;
• -
• completing accurate records; and
• -
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications

The qualifications for transfer cart operators are the ability to meet the requirements of the job with or without accommodation; the ability to read, write, and speak English; the ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler; the ability to use basic shop math; the ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
