Analyst, Capital Markets

LV Petroleum is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Capital Markets Analyst to support the company's financing, treasury, strategic growth, and capital allocation initiatives. This role will play a critical part in evaluating capital market opportunities, supporting debt and equity transactions, maintaining relationships with lenders and financial institutions, and delivering actionable financial insights that support executive decision-making.

The Capital Markets Analyst will work closely with senior leadership, finance, accounting, operations, legal counsel, banking partners, and investors to optimize capital structure, support acquisitions and growth initiatives, and ensure access to funding necessary to achieve LV Petroleum's strategic objectives.

This position requires strong financial modeling capabilities, exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Markets & Financing

• Assist in the evaluation, structuring, and execution of debt and equity financing transactions
• Support refinancing initiatives, credit facility negotiations, and lender due diligence processes
• Analyze financing alternatives and recommend optimal capital structures
• Prepare lender presentations, investment memorandums, and financing packages
• Monitor debt compliance requirements and covenant reporting
• Maintain financing schedules and debt amortization models

Financial Modeling & Analysis

• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models supporting growth initiatives, acquisitions, capital projects, and strategic investments
• Perform sensitivity, scenario, and risk analysis
• Evaluate project returns, investment opportunities, and capital expenditures
• Analyze market trends, interest rate environments, and financing conditions
• Prepare forecasts related to cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements

Strategic Planning & Corporate Development

• Support acquisition and divestiture activities, including valuation analyses and due diligence
• Assist in evaluating new market opportunities, asset purchases, and strategic partnerships
• Provide financial insights to support executive-level decision making
• Participate in long-range planning processes
• Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership, lenders, investors, and board meetings
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information used for strategic decisions

Treasury & Liquidity Management

• Monitor daily liquidity and cash position reporting
• Assist in optimizing working capital and cash management strategies
• Support banking relationship management and treasury initiatives
• Analyze cash forecasting and funding requirements

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Although this is an individual contributor role, the Capital Markets Analyst is expected to demonstrate leadership through influence, collaboration, and accountability.

Responsibilities include

• Partnering cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, Treasury, Real Estate, and Executive Leadership
• Serving as a trusted financial resource for department leaders
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives within financial planning and capital markets processes
• Maintaining strong professional relationships with external financial partners

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, capital markets, private equity, treasury, commercial banking, or financial analysis
• Experience supporting financing transactions and financial modeling
• Experience in travel centers, convenience stores, retail, hospitality or related industries preferred

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and financial presentation development.
• Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and capital markets.
