About The Role

Yowei Therapeutics and Yowei Oncology are stealth-stage life-sciences companies working closely with CSBio to advance peptide-based clinical programs. Their work spans longevity and peptide therapeutics, clinical trials, evaluation of a 503A pharmacy model, personalized synthetic neoantigen peptide oncology programs, and supporting microbiology and laboratory capabilities. Together, they are building the clinical, pharmacy, data, laboratory, and operational infrastructure needed to responsibly translate peptide programs into patient-facing studies and services. Both companies expect to remain in stealth through Q1 2027.
CSBio is a peptide contract manufacturing founded in 1993. CSBio initial products were a complete line of automated synthesizers for manufacturing and process development, with a focus on cGMP production. In 1994, CSBio opened a custom peptide facility and began producing high quality compounds for research organizations and pharmaceutical companies worldwide. In 2004, CSBio opened a peptide production facility in Menlo Park, CA and in 2014, CSBio expanded production capability through the addition of a new, state of the art building dedicated to cGMP peptide production. In 2017, CSBio passed a FDA inspection and were recommended to be approved for commercial drug substance manufacturing. In 2023, additional cGMP clinical production capacity was added in Milpitas, CA.
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day office operations and help internal teams stay coordinated. Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, reserve rooms, prepare agendas, and coordinate internal and external appointments.
  • Monitor routine administrative requests, organize follow-ups, and help ensure deadlines and commitments do not fall through the cracks.
  • Prepare, format, proofread, organize, and file correspondence, presentations, spreadsheets, meeting notes, and other business documents.
  • Support recruiting and onboarding logistics, including interview scheduling, first-day coordination, document checklists, and approved handoffs to managers, Finance, and IT.
  • Coordinate office supplies, meals, visitors, mail, packages, shipping, service providers, and routine facilities requests.
  • Assist with purchase requests, invoices, receipts, expense documentation, and vendor records; route approvals to the appropriate owner.
  • Maintain shared folders and records so current documents are easy to locate and outdated versions are clearly identified.
  • Handle confidential personnel, business, scientific, financial, and partner information with discretion.
  • Support special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative, office coordination, executive support, or related experience.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, including calendars, email, documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Strong organization, written communication, proofreading, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and surface blockers early.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment.
