Job Summary**

Directs and coordinates the activities of production personnel to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and the achievement of production targets within a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Job Responsibilities**

• Supervise and lead a team of production operators, technicians, and other manufacturing personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to meet established schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, fostering a safe working environment.
• Identify and resolve production issues, process deviations, and equipment malfunctions in a timely and effective manner.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality, and logistics, to ensure smooth production flow and resolve interdepartmental issues.
• Monitor production metrics, analyze data, and generate reports on production performance, efficiency, and quality.
• Participate in the hiring, training, and development of production team members.
• Manage employee attendance, vacation requests, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of production activities.

Job Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a production team.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays, as required by production demands.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
