Summer Intern - Multi-Family Business Development

The Multifamily Business Development Intern is responsible for marketing Allegion Multifamily Solutions to Multifamily developers. As Multifamily Business Development Intern will leverage AI tools, Dodge construction data, and modern prospecting strategies to identify, engage, and qualify high-value developer opportunities for Allegion’s multifamily sales team.

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.

What You Will Do

Develop marketing strategies to target Multifamily Developers
Use our digital tools and marketing collateral to differentiate Allegion solutions
Review Multifamily Dodge leads and identify target opportunities
Utilize AI to generate Multifamily developer target list and senior level contacts.
Develop prospecting skills to target developers and owners through email, social media and telephone calls.
Develop target account queries in Dodge to share with members of the sales team
Collaborate and share qualified leads with Multifamily Consultants and Virtual Sales Consultants
CRM & Data Management: document prospecting efforts in CRM via call reports and product forecasting
Participate in Allegion product and sales training sessions and Multifamily Project tracker meetings
Gain an understanding of how new construction and renovation projects are developed, furnished, and completed.
Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion

What You Need to Succeed

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, architectural, construction, or a related field
Completed junior year or above by the start of the internship
Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative e.g. school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, leadership on school or work projects, etc.
Passion for creating relationships
Competitive spirit and desire to be a part of a winning team
High internal motivation, creativity, and forward-thinking ability
Excellent communication skills; in particular must be comfortable creating and delivering recommendations and information to a group
Strong organizational skills and technologically savvy
Ability to stay organized and detail oriented
