You'll be the backbone of our kitchen, ensuring that everything is sparkling clean and running smoothly. As a Steward, you’re not just keeping our kitchen and dining areas sparkling clean – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

As the Steward, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards

Maintain proper personal hygiene habits.

Check & ensure that dishwashing machines are operating properly.

-

Able to do de-liming of dishwashing machines to ensure that the machines are able to produce clean equipment.

Changing of water of dishwashing machine.

-

To ensure dishes are cleaned and placed back properly on shelves.

-

Bleaching / removing of stains from chinaware & glassware.

-

Chemical knowledge / cleaning supplies.

-

Area of cleanliness & floor mopping.

-

Setting of hot box & dishing out plates.

-

Setting up a decoy area.

-

Washing of pots & pans and sanitizing process.

-

Burnishing of silverware by using ball-bearing machine.

-

Manual silverware polishing.

-

Handling of emergencies

-

To do any other work as requested by the Management.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications

• Previous experience in Stewarding or a similar role is preferred.
• Good communication skills in English to effectively communicate with team members and guests.
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays, based on operational requirements.
• Willingness to work different shifts according to business needs.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role effectively, including during periods of high operational demand.
