Sustainable Finance Intern

The Group Sustainability department is divided into three units

• i. Sustainable Investment,
• ii. Sustainable Insurance,
• iii. Corporate Sustainability.
• The Sustainable Investment team is responsible for defining the sustainable investment policy to apply while
• managing the portfolio of SCOR invested assets. As an institutional investor, SCOR is determined to play its
• part in contributing to the well-being and resilience of society, notably by preserving natural capital.
• The internship will take place within the Sustainable Investment team to support existing and new research
• topics on sustainability.

Responsibilities

As an example, these analyses and syntheses may require to

• Collect and analyse sustainability data to develop extra-financial indicators to apply to the SCOR

investment portfolio,

• Study external methodologies on ESG indicators to apply to the SCOR investment portfolio,
• Monitor activity regarding sustainable finance topics.

• The subjects delt with by the intern vary depending on periods of time. As an example, it could be studies on
• carbon or biodiversity footprints or climate & nature risks.

Qualifications

• You have good knowledge of market finance and of environmental and social issues.
• Former professional experience linked to those subjects is necessary.
• You are proficient in Excel, VBA, and ideally Python and SQL. Having used these tools in a professional

context would be very appreciated.

• Your English level allows you to evolve in an English-speaking environment. French would be appreciated but is not mandatory.
• Rigor, autonomy, intellectual curiosity, sense of initiative, and a very good relational ability are qualities sought after.
• You wish to supplement your higher education training (business school, engineering school or post-

• graduate, with ideally a finance specialisation) with an end-of-study or gap year internship within the
• sustainability team of a listed company.
