Compliance Lead - Canada

Join Wise, a global technology company on a mission to make international money transfers easier and more affordable. As the Senior Regulatory Compliance Lead for Canada, you will be responsible for leading our regulatory and financial crime compliance programs, engaging with regulators, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and help shape our compliance framework.

• Act as a primary point of contact for Canadian regulators and banking partners, responsible for identifying upcoming changes in regulatory and financial crime legislation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Second Line of Defense (2LoD) policies and procedures for regulatory and FinCrime compliance requirements for the Canadian market.
• Collaborate directly with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure new features or payment rails are "compliant by design."
