Job Summary

We are looking for a

Junior QA Analyst

with

1–2 years of experience

to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manual testing concepts and basic exposure to automation testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web applications by identifying defects, validating functionality, and working closely with developers to deliver high-quality software.

Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform Manual Testing including Functional, Regression, Smoke, Re-testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Execute test cases and report bugs using bug-tracking tools.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before release.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Validate API responses, status codes, and JSON/XML data.
• Work closely with developers and senior QA members to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and review meetings.
• Maintain test documentation, defect reports, and execution reports.
• Assist in automation testing activities and learn automation frameworks.
• Ensure software quality before deployment.

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Basic understanding of Automation Testing.
• Knowledge of API Testing using Postman or Swagger.
• Basic understanding of SQL and Database Testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Trello.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Re-testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience as a QA Analyst, QA Engineer, or Software Tester.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Selenium or any automation testing tool.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience testing web applications.
• Knowledge of SaaS applications will be an added advantage.
