Job Description

The Manager, HCCHungarysupports healthcare compliance activities forHungary,Croatiaand Slovenia, helping ensure ethical business conduct and adherence to applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and company policies for DePuy Synthes’ Orthopedics business. This role partners closely with country leadership,Legal,businessand functional stakeholders, and regional and global Compliance teams toidentifyand manage compliance risks while enabling sustainable business growth.This position playsan important rolein strengthening a culture of integrity and accountability acrossahighly regulated market, while gaining exposure to complex,multi‑countrycompliance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• -
• Serve as the primary Healthcare Compliance Officer for Hungary, Croatia, and Slovenia.
• -
• Lead the development and execution of healthcare compliance strategies aligned with global and EMEA regional priorities.
• -
• Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks related to commercial, promotional, professional education, and other business and operational activities.
• -
• Provide proactive guidance and practical advice to business leaders on healthcare compliance requirements and ethicaldecision‑making.
• -
• Partner withcross‑functionalstakeholders to embed effective compliance controls into business processes and market activities.
• -
• Oversee compliance programs, including training, monitoring, risk assessments, and issue management activities across assigned markets.
• -
• Partner with Legal and other functions to support investigations, audits, and regulatory or health authority interactions.
• -
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends across applicable markets toanticipateand address emerging compliance risks.
• -
• Prepare and present compliance risk assessments, insights, and recommendations to regional and senior leadership.

• Foster a strong culture of integrity, accountability, andspeak‑up.

Qualifications

Education

• -
• Required:Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration, ora relatedfield.
• -
• Preferred:Advanced degree or professional certification in Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Ethics‑related disciplines.

Experience and Skills

Required

-

5–7 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or related fields.

-

Working knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations, and industry codes applicable inHungary, Croatia, Sloveniaand/or the broader EMEA region (e.g., MedTech Europe, national codes).

Experience supporting country‑level compliance programs or compliance initiatives within a regulated industry.

Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability toidentifyand escalate risks appropriately.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a matrixed organization.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The anticipated base pay range for this position is

Ft14,351,000.00 - Ft24,760,650.00
