About The Role

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As Principal Product Manager, you will own a part of the Marketplace Technology EMEA capability within Nike’s Global Technology organization, based at our European Headquarters in Hilversum. The capability sits at the intersection of a complex, multi-application ecosystem and distributed teams across Global and EMEA — and your role is to create a coherent, high-value product direction. You will partner closely with both technology teams (Engineering, Architecture, Data & Analytics, Security, Program Management) and with EMEA business teams. You will also engage regularly with senior US-based leadership.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a seasoned product leader who leads through influence, systems thinking, and clarity of decisions. You bring a product vision that cares deeply about business impact. You thrive in complex, fragmented environments: you can enter a landscape of many teams and applications, establish trust quickly, create shared direction, and turn separate efforts into a functioning ecosystem. You are comfortable operating with incomplete information and distinguish consultation from consensus.

You think in capabilities, standards, and reusable patterns, balancing short-term delivery against long-term vision — and you understand that success is measured through the products, teams, and business outcomes your capability enables, not through delivery alone. You bring deep executive presence — concise, structured communication and the ability to translate technical complexity into business outcomes — alongside political intelligence and stakeholder empathy.

You think strategically that drive clarity and accountability, cultivate innovation, achieve results under complex circumstances. You embrace and drive change through ambiguity and manage conflict constructively to unlock better outcomes. Key Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with a track record of leading complex, enterprise-scale capabilities in a cross-functional, multi-team environment
  • Multi-product capability ownership — proven experience owning enterprise capabilities that interact with many product teams and business stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of platform technologies, integration architectures, and enterprise orchestration layers
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority — building coalitions, aligning distributed teams, and driving decisions across organizations you do not manage
  • Strong executive stakeholder management and communication — able to land a clear recommendation, hold your ground under challenge, and simplify complexity for senior leaders
  • Systems thinking — you identify dependencies and second-order effects and separate local optimization from enterprise value
  • Understanding of Agentic and Generative AI applications in the enterprise and how they reshape workflows
  • Experience leading in a distributed, cross-time-zone environment
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, while operating with a product outcome rather than a sprint-ritual mindset

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As Principal Product Manager, you will own and lead a critical capability that connects and elevates a complex, multi-application ecosystem — with early phases where success is business-critical and momentum matters. You will lead its long-term product direction, business outcomes, technical evolution, delivery, and adoption. Key accountabilities include:

  • Establish a clear vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the capability, grounded in high value business outcomes and technology direction
  • Build coalitions across distributed Global and EMEA teams — create shared ownership, make decisions visible, and unblock cross-functional alignment
  • Champion the capability with EMEA business, Global Technology, and senior leadership; represent it in cross-org and global forums
  • Partner with Architecture and Engineering on key design decisions, integration and orchestration patterns, and non-functional requirements
  • Bring Agentic and Generative AI into the roadmap where they create outsized value, testing assumptions through experiments and adapting as the technology evolves
  • Obsess adoption, enablement, and value realization — measure success through the products, teams, and business outcomes the capability enables

Applications will be accepted until 6th October 2026. We encourage external candidates to apply as soon as possible, as the posting may close earlier if we receive a sufficient number of applications.
