QA Engineer (Intern)

A Day in Your Life at MKS Atotech Minsk

As a QA Engineer (Intern/Student) at MKS Atotech Minsk, you will partner with the Business Process Automation Development team to ensure the quality and reliability of Web-based internal automated systems that integrates ERP and CRM functionalities to streamline business processes and enhance customer interaction. In this role, you will report to the Lead of Business Process Automation Development.

You Will Make an Impact By

• Testing the modules of our internal automated systems integrating ERP and CRM functionalities
• Designing, writing, and executing test cases and test scenarios
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects to resolution
• Verifying new features and bug fixes across the development lifecycle
• Participating actively in all stages of the development lifecycle, from planning to release
• Contributing to test documentation to ensure comprehensive and up-to-date records
• Communicating effectively in daily syncs with the team in English to ensure seamless collaboration

Travel Requirements: The need for travel is not expected.

Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (candidates starting their QA career are welcome)
• Foundational understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the QA lifecycle
• Understanding of how web applications work (client-server model, HTTP requests/responses, browsers)
• Basic knowledge of web application testing (functional and UI)
• Good command of English, sufficient for daily syncs and communication with the team
• Ability to write clear, structured test cases and defect reports
• Full-time availability
• Attention to detail, curiosity, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with browser developer tools for inspecting and troubleshooting web pages is a plus
• Basic understanding of testing RESTful/Web API endpoints is a plus
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation is a plus
• Understanding of version control (git) and agile development practices is a plus
