• Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Holiday Club Playworker / Activity Leader to join our team in Andover this October half-term.
• You’ll help create a fun, safe and inclusive environment where children can enjoy their school holidays through games, sports, creative activities and plenty of adventures! 🎨⚽🌈
• Whether you already have childcare experience or simply have a real passion for working with children, we’d love to hear from you!
• 🎨 WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
• As a JAG Playworker, you’ll help make every day exciting and memorable for the children in our care.

Your role will include

• ⚽ Planning and delivering fun activities including multi-sports, games, arts & crafts and structured play
• 🌈 Creating a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment
• 💛 Supporting children throughout the day, from arrival through to collection
• 🛡️ Following safeguarding, health & safety and company procedures
• 📝 Managing sign-in and sign-out procedures
• 🍎 Preparing and providing refreshments while maintaining good hygiene standards
• 🧩 Setting up and packing away activities, play spaces and equipment
• 📋 Completing relevant accident and incident documentation when required
• 🤝 Building positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues and the school
• 😊 Supporting positive behaviour and encouraging children to get involved and have fun

• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
• This role could suit someone with experience as a Playworker, Childcare Assistant, Activity Leader, Sports Coach, Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker or in a similar role.
