Technical Manager

The Technical Manager will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technologies. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective and efficient utilization of these technologies across Oceaneering's IMDS regional businesses. This position will drive the development and deployment of advanced NDT techniques, contributing to business excellence and supporting the Centre of Excellence (CoE) initiatives.

• Act as the primary Point of Contact for Advanced NDT, providing expertise and support to IMDS regional businesses.
• Ensure the proper and efficient use of advanced NDT technologies, techniques, and methodologies.
• Develop and implement strategies for the deployment of advanced NDT technologies to enhance business operations.
• Support the Centre of Excellence (CoE) initiatives by contributing to technology-related projects and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in NDT and recommend innovative solutions to improve testing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced NDT into existing workflows and systems.
• Provide training and guidance to IMDS personnel on the effective use of advanced NDT equipment and techniques.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with NDT standards and regulations.
• Analyze NDT data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize testing processes.
• Bachelor's degree or Level 3 in A/NDT disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Advanced NDT technologies and techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of ANDT standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
• Experience in developing and implementing ANDT strategies and processes.
• Proficiency in using ANDT equipment and software tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and advancements in NDT.
• Valid certification in Advanced NDT or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified timeframe.
