Chargeman, A4 (Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient building operations.
• Supervise and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical installations and equipment.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements, safety regulations, and UEM Edgenta standards.
• Monitor electrical systems, identify faults, and perform troubleshooting and rectification works where required.
• Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical installations, including switchboards, generators, transformers, and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, inspections, testing, and statutory documentation.
• Supervise contractors and service providers involved in electrical works and monitor their performance against agreed requirements.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns and emergencies, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.

Requirements

• Valid Chargeman A4 competency certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, building facilities, or property management.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical safety requirements, statutory regulations, and workplace safety practices.
