Job Summary

The Project Coordinator for Primoris Services Corporation in Denton will support project management activities within the PTD division, ensuring efficient project execution from initiation to close-out. This role involves administrative support, documentation control, and communication facilitation to keep projects on track and within budget.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers and other project team members with various administrative and organizational tasks.
  • Prepare and distribute project-related documentation, including reports, schedules, meeting minutes, and presentations.
  • Maintain and organize project files, both physical and electronic, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and distributing materials.
  • Track project progress, deliverables, and deadlines, providing regular updates to the project team.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including internal departments, clients, and vendors.
  • Assist with the procurement process, including preparing purchase orders and tracking material deliveries.
  • Support invoice processing and expense reporting for project-related costs.
  • Monitor and update project budgets and cost tracking systems under the guidance of Project Managers.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, bids, and contracts.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative support role, preferably within the construction, engineering, or utility sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
