Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Learn and apply SEL Values and Principles of Operation.
• Learn the concepts of World Class Manufacturing, and consistently apply them to continually improve and simplify processes in your area.
• Learn and perform daily materials and receiving tasks to achieve customer expectations for service and delivery by reading and following area documentation and operating mobile equipment.
• Improve performance by learning from previous experience, others, accepting new assignments and by openly receiving regular feedback.
• Work cooperatively within a team environment.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Model and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Understand. Create. Simplify.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to listen, comprehend, and follow instructions
• Basic math, documentation, reading, writing and communication skills.
• Manual dexterity and ability to concentrate.
• Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds
• Adhere to SEL's tobacco-free policy
• Compliance with heightened periodic drug testing for operators of SEL vehicles
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Materials/Receiving Experience

Experience in forklift truck operation

Physical Requirements

Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds
