Among them, many are related to AML (Anti-Money Laundering). An important part of our strategy is to be very efficient at that through technology.This role plays a critical part in safeguarding Nu Mexico’s financial ecosystem against money laundering and terrorism financing, contributing to robust compliance through analytics, supporting the identification and mitigation of emerging financial crime risk through a forward-looking, data-driven AML approach aligned with the broader compliance <strategy.You>’ll be Responsible for As a highly specialized member of the team, execute the most complex parts of AML Analytics processes required by the Mexican banking regulationPlan and deploy AML monitoring scenarios, building an efficient alert engine, as well as maintaining/improving itApply our machine learning models to systems and pipelines (alert generation, risk policies, etc.)Design and implement policies/models for customer risk ratingPresent and explain AML Analytics matters before the 1LOD (First Line of Defense), local leadership, regulators, auditorsCollaborate with the global AML teams at applying standards and best practices to MXFollow-up AML-related Analytics and Tech projects that are executed by other teamsBe the local responsible for planning, project management in the areaBuild and maintain indicators/metrics for measuring transaction monitoring, risk distribution, KYC, etc. What We're Looking For Someone Who HasRequiredData, framework, data warehousing, ETL contributor/developer, big dataProgrammingParadigms and their best practices: Object Oriented, FunctionalDevelopment of general-purpose tooling/automationInteracting with production systems through APIsTechnology: scaling and productivityAML, fraud, “MSAC”Experience with regulation/Compliance/LegalPlanning & Project management, roadmaps, work planning methodologiesAnalytics applications:Problem-solving and decision making, in generalModels, practical application or theory Work Setup LocationMexico City, MexicoWork model[Hybrid / On-Site]Office requirement3 days per week at the office.
