If you are passionate about ocean freight, comfortable working in a lean setup, and excited to be part of a company on the rise, we would love to hear from you.Your RoleAs Trade Manager - Ocean Freight Hong Kong (m/f/d), you will own day-to-day ocean trade execution, carrier management, and pricing coordination on the Asia–Europe trade lane (North Europe and Med), working closely with the Director of Trades and Partnerships and your EU-based counterpart. You will act as the primary trade and pricing interface for Voyfai members and group companies from the origin side, and you will contribute actively to trade strategy and commercial decision-making in a lean, high-ownership environment.What You Will DoOwn and manage day-to-day commercial and operational relationships with assigned ocean carriers on the Asia–Europe trade laneLead and support carrier negotiations within scope — seasonal adjustments, space protection, and commercial discussionsExecute ocean freight trade and pricing strategies, managing contracts, allocations, and performance against agreed commitmentsAct as the primary trade and pricing interface for Voyfai members and group companies from the HK sideCollect volume forecasts, align stakeholders, and drive adherence to agreed carrier and trade strategiesWork closely with the EU-based Trade Manager as a tandem partner to keep origin and destination aligned on pricing, allocations, and operational executionHandle trade-related escalations, exceptions, and operational issues across carriers, agents, and membersMonitor market and carrier intelligence and contribute insights to trade strategy and continuous improvementWhat You Bring5+ years of experience in ocean freight trade, procurement, or carrier managementStrong hands-on experience with the Asia–Europe ocean trade laneProven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor with high ownership in a lean environmentSolid understanding of ocean freight contracts, FCL/LCL allocations, and operational executionFamiliarity with freight forwarder or agent networks in Asia — understanding how they operate and what they needStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills across carriers and internal teamsComfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment where processes are still being builtFluency in English; Mandarin or Cantonese is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and equity options18 days annual leave + Hong Kong public and statutory holidaysMedical insuranceHybrid working arrangementHigh-impact role with real ownership from day one and close collaboration with senior leadership
