ESaaS - DBA - Sys Admin

Role-Infor LN, Baan 5, Baan IV

Description

1. Administer and support Infor LN (Baan V) and Infor OS environments, including ION Desk, IDM, and ION API
2. Manage installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of Baan V/LN (Tools and Functional components)
3. Configure and maintain system parameters to ensure optimal performance and stability
4. Handle user access, roles, and security administration across Baan V/LN and Infor OS platforms
5. Perform troubleshooting of job failures, performance issues, and user incidents, including root cause analysis using Baan tracing tools
6. Support DEM, Job Management, Device Management, and Audit Management activities
7. Manage SLM licensing, including installation, compliance monitoring, and maintenance for Baan and interface licenses
8. Perform LNUI installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
9. Develop and troubleshoot system integrations using ION and C4WS
10. Execute data refresh activities (Production to Test environments) ensuring data consistency and validation
11. Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Perl, PowerShell, Shell) to improve operational efficiency
12. Collaborate with Linux administrators, Oracle DBAs, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and system support
13. Assist in job scheduling and batch process management
14. Manage Infor Barcode (device and user configuration/support)
15. Possess knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Local Disaster Recovery (LDR) processes

Responsibilities

• 1.Proficient in SQL querying for data retrieval and analysis
• 2.AWS certified with foundational understanding of cloud concepts and services
• 3.Experience in basic scripting using Shell and Ansible for automation and task efficiency
• 4.Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and architecture
• 5.Knowledge of load balancing concepts for application availability and performance
• 6.Good understanding of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, ports, protocols)
• 7.Familiarity with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) is an added advantage
• 8.Awareness of cost management and optimization strategies in cloud environments
• 9.Flexible and willing to work in rotational or night shifts to support business needs
• 10 Experience in label designing and related configuration tasks
