Senior Founding Engineer

About the Role

A senior founding engineer role focused on building the technical core of an AI driven banking platform. You will influence early architecture, set technical direction, and shape the product from first principles in collaboration with the founding team.

What You'll Do

• Define core problems to solve and design the underlying intelligence for the platform.

• Address the most critical product and technical challenges as they arise.

• Build models and agents that coordinate complex financial workflows across multiple counterparties.

• Own architecture, infrastructure, evaluations, and product interfaces.
• -
• Help recruit and establish engineering standards and processes.
• -
• Publish technical ideas to educate other engineers and contribute to the tech community.

What We're Looking For

• Strong track record shipping production grade systems and owning significant technical decisions.
• -
• Excellent coding ability and a knack for turning ambiguous problems into working products.
• -
• Experience across backend systems, applied AI, and product interfaces.
• -
• Craftsmanship, reliability, and a focus on measuring system effectiveness.
• -
• Experience with AI components such as retrieval, memory systems, and evaluation frameworks for data intensive environments is a plus.

• Background in financial or other complex professional workflows is beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: 180000-300000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship not available.
