About the Role

NRI Australia & New Zealand is looking for an experienced SAP HR / HCM / Payroll Consultant to join our Managed Services team.

This is a hands-on functional role supporting a complex SAP ECC6 HCM environment, with responsibility across Payroll, Personnel Administration, Organisational Management, Time Management, Benefits and ESS/MSS.

You’ll work closely with payroll, business and technical teams, providing Level 2/3 support, configuration, enhancements and continuous improvement across a business-critical SAP HR landscape.

What You’ll Do

• Providing Level 2 & 3 functional support across SAP HCM and Payroll
• Configuring and supporting PA, OM, Time Management, Payroll, Benefits and ESS/MSS
• Supporting Australian payroll processing, including payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, time evaluation and absence quotas
• Troubleshooting complex production issues and performing root cause analysis
• Supporting Australian payroll, taxation, legislative and enterprise agreement requirements
• Developing functional specifications and working with ABAP, Basis, Finance, Security and SuccessFactors teams
• Supporting enhancements, integrations, upgrades, testing, SAP Notes and releases
• Working within an ITSM environment, including incident, problem and change management
• Identifying opportunities for process optimisation and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years' SAP ECC6 functional consulting experience
• Minimum 3 years' SAP HR/Payroll experience in a support environment
• Strong hands-on experience across SAP HCM Payroll, PA, OM and Time Management
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll, including taxation, payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types and compliance
• Strong SAP configuration, troubleshooting and production support experience
• Experience working within complex enterprise environments
• Experience with LSMW and BDC data migration tools
• Knowledge of SAP OSS Notes, support packages, testing and release management
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Highly regarded

• SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) experience
• Relevant SAP certifications
