Front Desk Agent - Steady Extra (Paris LV)

About The Role
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for processing guest arrivals and departures while delivering exceptional customer service. This role serves as a primary resource for guest inquiries, assists with reservations and hotel information, and resolves guest concerns in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Process guest check-in and check-out transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Register guests, assign rooms, and collect all required guest information.
- Accommodate special requests and pre-register or block reservations as needed.
- Accept same-day and future reservations in accordance with hotel rates and selling strategies.
- Handle cash and credit transactions in compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, property amenities, in-house events, local attractions, and directions.
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints professionally to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Assist guests with dining, entertainment, and other reservation requests when needed.
- Troubleshoot guest issues related to room billing, telephones, movies, and other hotel services.
- Process reservation cancellations in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain and balance a daily cash bank of $1,000.
- Prepare guest key packets and ensure lobby materials and brochures remain fully stocked.
- Assist with guest service recovery efforts when appropriate.
- Stay informed of current hotel events, promotions, and property information to effectively assist guests.
- Act as a liaison between guests and hotel departments to ensure timely fulfillment of guest requests.
- Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service.
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally to create a welcoming experience.
- Answer telephones promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accuracy in cashiering, guest accounts, and reporting.
- Process casino status changes on guest folios and attach required documentation to checked-out folios.
- Keep workstations organized, clean, and adequately stocked with supplies.
- Generate shift reports and provide rate information for current and future dates.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-starter with strong problem solving ability
- Excellent oral and written communication in English; heavy telephone volume; must be able to tolerate secondary smoke
- Must be a team player and ability to work in a close knit environment, with constant co-worker involvement
- Must be able to complete several tasks at once with accuracy
- Must be able to stand for entire shift (an average 8 hour shift).
- Ability to perform reaching, stooping and/or crouching motions repeatedly
- Must be able to communicate verbally
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 25lbs.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- One year experience in front desk or guest service field
- 6 months experience in basic computer knowledge
- Proficient in a second language would be beneficial.
