Forward Deployed Engineer (Senior)

About the Role

A hands-on role in a small team focused on integrating technology with advisory workflows. You will collaborate closely with domain experts to prototype, build, and iterate software that supports tax advisory work in a fast paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Build MVPs in collaboration with practitioners to validate ideas quickly.

• Translate complex advisory workflows into working software solutions.
• -
• Iterate rapidly based on direct user feedback and measurable outcomes.

• Own features end-to-end from scoping through deployment and monitoring.

What We're Looking For

• -
• 3+ years of full stack engineering experience building and deploying production software.
• -
• Fluent German language skills (spoken and written).
• -
• Proficiency with backend frameworks such as NestJS or equivalents and frontend frameworks like React, with full-stack TypeScript experience.
• -
• Experience delivering features end-to-end from requirements gathering to deployment.
• -
• Ability to translate domain workflows into software requirements and implementations.
• -
• Experience collaborating with non technical stakeholders and domain experts.
• -
• Strong product sense and a tech first mindset, with no low code tools.
• -
• Background in financial services, tax, accounting, or regulated advisory domains preferred.
• -
• Startup or early stage experience and willingness to work on site in Berlin.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range is 60,000 to 120,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship not available.
