SUMMARY:
The purpose of this job is
to load and unload parts off
trucks, place parts in the proper area of the shipping and receiving
department and take
parts to and from the production lines.
WAGE TYPE:
Hourly

RESPONSIBILITIES
:

Driving and o
perating forklifts

Loading/unloading trucks
.
Deliver parts from the warehouse to the dock
.
Pick up completions from the lines and deliver to the
finished goods warehouse
.
Bring materials from the warehouse to the lines
.
Verify
tags on skid verses on system pick or
mov
ement
.
Move and stack material for the lines
.
Maintaining dock area in a neat
and orderly manner
/keep warehouse organized
.
Transfer parts and orders interdepartmentally and insuring proper documentation
.
Could potentially
come in contact with hazardous chemicals.

Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:
Required: High School diploma or GED
Communication Skills:
Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
Must be able to clearly understand material tracking documents and communicate verbally with line personnel on a daily basis.
Other Skills:
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Must be able to drive a forklift.
Physical Requirements:
