Reporting to the Converting Manager, the Asset Leader is ultimately responsible for ensuring assets are adequately maintained with necessary tools, materials, and supplies needed for operation. This position will proactively coordinate and lead the manufacturing operations to ensure the achievement of department objectives for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & People.

• Monitor measurement systems to ensure consistency between crews and assist in communicating Key Performance Indicators to the crews. Ensure systems are developed, monitored, and sustained to deliver and improve operational excellence. Develop and drive implementation of site initiatives to support multi-year site vision
• Coordinate maintenance and operational resources on a daily basis and for scheduled “down days”
• Develop a climate which encourages the participation and involvement of all employees to pursue continuous development and continuous improvement. Coach, develop & mentor Process Techs and Process Engineers. Support capability development and provide feedback for operating teams
• Lead Manufacturing teams, Maintenance teams, Process Engineers, Process Techs & Suppliers to evaluate and recommend upgrades and design improvements. Lead teams through trouble-shooting exercises leading to process stability and improvement
• Support Value Stream Manager and other site leaders in determining and directing long-range plans, objectives, and activities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred
• 5+ years in an operations leadership role in a Consumer Packaged Goods processing facility
• Strong coaching & mentoring skills with experience in leading change
• Strong technical abilities
• Excellent communication skills & comfortable in presenting to senior level audiences
• Ability to influence with and without authority
• Advanced systems aptitude and excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
