About The Role

  • Maintain a safe warehouse environment with required training, inspections, and timely corrective actions.
  • Achieve agreed targets for order accuracy, on-time receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through disciplined transactions, cycle counts, reconciliations, and corrective actions.
  • Improve warehouse productivity and throughput while controlling labor, material-handling, and operating costs.
  • Ensure warehouse transactions and records are completed accurately and promptly in the ERP/WMS.
  • Develop a capable team through onboarding, coaching, cross-training, performance feedback, and succession planning.
  • Maintain organized, clean, and efficient warehouse space that supports safe movement and effective storage.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that reduce errors, delays, waste, and unnecessary handling.
  • Collaborate effectively with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Transportation to resolve issues.
  • Promote compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, quality standards, and inventory-control procedures.
  • Must ensure that company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered to at all

times.

  • Provide continual evaluation of the group’s processes and methods, to assure the most

effective use of resources and equipment.

  • Provide day to day supervision of employee job execution, to include; training, performance

evaluation and employee relations.

  • Assist in maintaining KPI’s to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in inventory accuracy.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in processes to increase throughput, improve efficiencies

and reduce costs.

  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Plan daily labor assignments and adjust staffing to meet workload and service requirements.
  • Monitor receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and material-handling activities for accuracy

and timeliness.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, transaction discipline, root-cause analysis,

and corrective action.

  • Ensure all company policies surrounding stock, health & safety, quality requirements and

housekeeping are met and improved upon as identified.

  • Track and report KPIs, including inventory accuracy, order accuracy, on-time shipment,

productivity, and safety performance.

  • Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Transportation to

resolve issues and prevent delays.

  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by challenging unauthorized personnel upon

entry as to their needs, and report any theft, loss or missing items to manager immediately

  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching and disciplining employees; planning,

monitoring, and appraising job results.
Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, ERP, inventory control, and supervisory experience.
  • Must be able to deliver solutions and decisions that are effective and constructively impact both NOV and our customer’s organization.
  • Must be able to resolve problem through collaboration and sharing with their teammates.

  • Be willing to provide colleagues with the information they need to complete their tasks and

eliminate roadblocks.

  • Designs and simplifies complex systems and workflows that can manage themselves with

little intervention.
Technical Competencies:

  • Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Willingness to continue to grow in knowledge to perform duties better.
  • Ability to identify system related problems and work with IT resources for resolution.
