Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy frozen warehouse operation in Piedmont, SC. This position involves operating a forklift in a cold-storage environment while picking and handling cases of frozen food products.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a forklift to move and position products throughout the warehouse
Pick and handle cases of frozen food products, including turkeys
Load, unload, stage, and transport product as needed
Accurately pick orders according to production or customer requirements
Inspect products and pallets for damage
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operating guidelines
Work efficiently to meet daily productivity and order fulfillment goals
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous forklift operating experience required
Warehouse or distribution experience preferred
Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment
Comfortable working in a cold/frozen warehouse environment
Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull cases as required
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Work is performed in a cold-storage/frozen warehouse environment
Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying
Ability to handle cases of frozen food products
Must be able to safely perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift
Schedule & Pay
$18.00/hour
7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
