Supervisor – Horticulture Duties & Responsibilities
Team Supervision
Supervise gardeners and horticulture staff at assigned sites.
Allocate daily work and monitor attendance, grooming, and discipline.
Train the team on plant-care procedures, safety, and site protocols.
Coordinate backup manpower during leave or absenteeism.
Plant Maintenance
Ensure regular watering, pruning, cleaning, soil conditioning, and plant grooming.
Monitor plant health and identify dull, dry, diseased, or pest-affected plants.
Coordinate plant replacements as per the approved process.
Ensure proper placement and alignment of plants and planters.
Pest & Disease Management
Identify pest and disease issues at an early stage.
Coordinate approved medication/treatment as per the maintenance schedule.
Ensure correct application of organic/bio-green products and Neem oil wherever required.
Maintain records of medication and treatment carried out.
Site Inspection & Quality Control
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure maintenance standards are met.
Check plant survival, appearance, cleanliness, moisture, and overall landscape condition.
Verify that the team follows the approved maintenance checklist.
Identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
Client Coordination :
Coordinate with the client/FM team regarding daily horticulture requirements.
Attend client complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Communicate plant replacement, maintenance, and site-related updates.
Escalate major technical or operational issues to the management.
