Radiology Cardio Tech

• Responsible for hemodynamic monitoring and EKG interpretation, documentation during interventional procedures
• Performs post procedure care and vascular access site management including arterial and venous sheath removal and closure device utilization
• Operates, troubleshoots, maintains and performs quality control on all equipment used in lab, including imaging systems/fluoroscopy
• Maintains supply inventory.
• Other duties as assigned and vary within Atlantic Health site specific
• Ability to work in a fast paced, critical care environment
• Ability to physically navigate within the cath lab, safely, rapidly and efficiently, especially when providing life-saving support for patients (i.e. STEMI, cardiogenic shock) which requires additional team member and ancillary department support, and multiple devices/equipment
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to work extended shifts in a volume-driven clinical environment and responsible for 24/7/365 on-call team member shared requirements.ar protective lead aprons and collars (10-15 lbs)

Handling Equipment: (safely move heavy medical equipment (i.e.: IABP), large display monitors, defibrillators, and other machines/devices)

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiology technology

One year of Interventional radiology/cath lab experience required for per diem status

• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) required.
• Current AART Radiology Technology Licensure Required
• ACLS within 3 mos of hire
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification (RCIS) preferred
