• We are currently looking for dynamic and experienced Site Managers with a Social Housing background to join our growing team at Connolly.

We have several exciting opportunities available, delivering a range of external refurbishment projects, including

• Window and door replacement programmes
• External Wall Insulation (EWI) works
• External refurbishment projects
• Social housing decarbonisation and retrofit schemes

Previous experience delivering these types of works is highly desirable.

What you'll be doing

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from start to finish, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include

• Managing day-to-day site operations and project delivery.
• Supervising direct labour, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with specifications, programmes and contractual requirements.
• Planning and coordinating labour, materials, plant and site resources.
• Monitoring progress, quality, productivity and project performance.
• Working closely with Contract Managers and Quantity Surveyors to control costs and maximise project profitability.
• Reviewing and managing project documentation, including site diaries, reports, site instructions and quality records.
• Implementing and maintaining Health & Safety procedures, including site inspections, audits, RAMS reviews and toolbox talks.
• Managing risk and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, company policies and industry standards.
• Maintaining excellent relationships with residents, clients and key stakeholders.
• Coordinating inspections, snagging activities and handovers.
• Supporting resident engagement and promoting the highest standards of customer service and workmanship.

What you'll bring

Essential

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or social housing.
• Experience delivering social housing refurbishment projects from start to completion.
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Good understanding of construction methods, health & safety requirements and project delivery.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Commercial awareness and experience managing project costs.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card
• SMSTS (in date)
• First Aid at Work
• Scaffold Awareness
• Understanding of Temporary Works procedures

Desirable

• Asbestos Awareness
• Experience delivering EWI works, retrofit projects, decarbonisation schemes and window and door replacement programmes.
