Embedded Linux System Developer, 80-100% (f/m/x)

Your role

• Develop and maintain the in-house Linux distribution for our test and measurement products
• Manage the deployment, configuration and long-term maintenance of the Linux distribution
• Specify, design and implement software components and system functions in C and C++
• Test, document and maintain the software you develop
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our products, technologies and development methods
• Keep your technical knowledge up to date and share it with your colleagues
• Shape and enhance our development processes

What makes you a great fit

• A degree or comparable technical education in information technology, communications engineering or a related field
• At least five years of professional experience developing software components or systems in C and C++ on Linux
• Practical experience in embedded systems development, including Linux kernel and/or driver development
• Practical experience with networking, real-time Linux, embedded hardware, cross-compilation and toolchains
• A structured and solution-oriented approach to software development
• Enjoyment of teamwork combined with a high degree of personal responsibility
