About The Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.

As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating, ensuring, and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required

Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.

Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university

Candidate with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.

Basic life support [must obtain within 30 days of hire.]

ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment.
