Senior Full Stack Engineer (w/m/d)

About the Role

Join a product focused engineering team building a scalable AI platform in a fast growing setting. You will help shape architecture, ship core features and ensure a robust, user friendly experience for a broad base of customers.

What You'll Do

• -
• Own complex architectural problems across the platform including data synchronization and secure sandbox infrastructure.

• Architect, build and ship high quality full stack features using React and TypeScript with a focus on long term scalability and UX.
• -
• Design systems to synchronize and index large data sets while enforcing permissions.
• -
• Build infrastructure to process large volumes of calls to AI services with reliability and security.
• -
• Implement scalable, secure sandbox solutions that can spawn thousands of sandboxes per day.
• -
• Provide fast integrations tooling so new systems can be connected in hours.
• -
• Collaborate on technical roadmaps and align on architectural decisions with the team.
• -
• Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
• -
• Mentor junior colleagues and improve the codebase through thorough reviews.
• -
• Continuously improve development processes, code quality standards and team performance.

What We're Looking For

• -
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• -
• Production experience with React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Docker and CI/CD.
• -
• Experience with tRPC, Kubernetes and modern frontend tooling.
• -
• Proven ability designing, scaling and maintaining complex architectures for high growth products.
• -
• End-to-end ownership of substantial initiatives from concept through delivery and operation.
• -
• Experience operating large scale, reliable and secure systems such as data synchronization, high volume API or processing, or multi-tenant infrastructure.
• -
• Strong product ownership mindset with attention to UX and long-term product success.
• -
• Interest in mentoring engineers and shaping engineering standards and processes.
• -
• Senior level accomplishments demonstrating impact or solving complex problems.
• -
• Based in Munich or willing to work from Munich with hybrid arrangements.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: EUR 70,000 to EUR 90,000 annually. Visa sponsorship: not available.

Primary location: Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Hybrid work arrangement with some on site presence.
