Wellstar Health System is seeking a board-certified/board-eligibleGeneral (Non-Invasive) Cardiologistto join our expanding team at thenew Wellstar Columbia County Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing program and contribute to the development of cardiovascular services in a rapidly growing region.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to clinical excellence in non-invasive cardiology.

Provide comprehensiveoutpatient and inpatient general cardiologyservices

Interpret non-invasive studies including

-

Echocardiography

• -
• Stress testing
• -
• EKG and Holter monitoring
• -
• Participate in hospital rounding and consults
• -
• Share call responsibilities with other cardiologists in the region
• -
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers, electrophysiologists, and interventional cardiologists
• -
• Help build and shape the cardiology service line at a new, state-of-the-art hospital

Qualifications

• -
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• -
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease
• -
• Board certified/board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• -
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Georgia
• -
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
