Vice President of Technology

Overtime, a leading sports media company, is seeking a Vice President of Technology to oversee both IT infrastructure and software engineering. This hands-on leadership role involves setting technical direction, managing the annual IT budget, overseeing IT operations and infrastructure, and leading the software engineering function. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of technology experience, with at least 5 years leading both infrastructure/IT and software engineering teams. A background in sports, media, or entertainment is preferred.

• Comfort operating in a live events or broadcast environment
• Track record running a security program, including endpoint protection, access governance, security awareness training, and incident response
• 10+ years in technology, with at least 5 years leading both infrastructure/IT and software engineering teams
• Deep hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), CI/CD, networking, identity, and endpoint management
• Strong written and verbal communication, with a proven ability to make technical trade-offs legible to executive and business stakeholders
• Experience leading engineering delivery for consumer-facing products at scale, including mobile and web
• Demonstrated ownership of an annual technology budget, including vendor negotiation, procurement, and forecasting alongside Finance
• Sports, media, or entertainment industry background
• Experience with media asset management, transcode pipelines, and broadcast data integrations
• Experience applying AI and automation to both internal operations and production workflows
