Journeyman Electrician – Multiple Projects & Locations

Position Summary

Cache Valley Electric is continually looking for experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our teams on projects throughout Utah and across the United States.

We support a wide range of commercial, industrial, mission-critical, and data center projects and are looking for skilled electricians who take pride in their work, prioritize safety, and want long-term opportunities with an established electrical contractor.

This is an ongoing opportunity, and project locations, schedules, and compensation may vary based on current project needs.

What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Install conduit, cable tray, wire, electrical equipment, panels, switchgear, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Bend and install EMT, rigid conduit, and other raceway systems.
• Pull, terminate, and test electrical conductors and cables.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, blueprints, and one-line diagrams.
• Install electrical systems in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes.
• Perform layout and installation of electrical systems based on drawings and field conditions.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify installation or equipment issues.
• Coordinate work with Foremen, General Foremen, Superintendents, and other trades.
• Maintain productivity while meeting project schedules and quality expectations.
• Follow CVE safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist apprentices and less-experienced electricians with proper installation methods and safe work practices.
• Perform additional electrical work as required by the project.
• Current Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent qualifications applicable to the project location.
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, tools, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and construction documents.
• Experience bending conduit and installing raceway systems.
• Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical safety practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical installations and solve problems in the field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger project team.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled overtime when required.
• Ability to travel for project assignments when applicable.
