Student - Instructional Design Intern

This position is responsible for editing course syllabi to ensure accessibility. This involves basic HTML editing as well as progress tracking.
$9.50/hour
Primary Duties

Edit HTML source in Canvas and HelioCampus to ensure compatibility with screen readers

Communicate questions/changes when applicable

Track progress in shared spreadsheet

Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
Secondary Duties
Other duties as assigned.
Education Required
Education Preferred:
Experience Required

• Teamwork experience (e.g. from job, sports, student leadership, etc.)

Experience Preferred

• Customer Service Experience
• Experience using online applications including learning management systems (LMS, e.g. Canvas), Microsoft Office, and video conferencing tools (e.g. Zoom and Teams)

Skills, Characteristics Required

• Attention to detail
• Ability to learn basic HTML coding
• Ability to learn basic data entry/tracking in spreadsheets
• Reliability (able to work consistently and arrive on time)

Ability to work independently (once training is complete)
