IBM WebSphere Liberty SME / Senior Middleware Consultant

The IBM WebSphere Liberty SME will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing IBM WebSphere Liberty environments. They will be responsible for leading upgrade and migration projects, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth deployments. The candidate should have a strong background in middleware administration and a proven track record in Liberty-related projects.

• Lead IBM WebSphere Liberty installation, configuration, and administration processes.
• Execute Liberty version upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Assess, plan, and execute Liberty upgrade projects.
• Configure and manage Liberty servers, clusters, and security components.
• Troubleshoot application and performance-related issues.
• Support CI/CD integrations and automate application deployments.
• Analyze logs and dumps for performance tuning.
• Implement security measures like SSL/TLS and LDAP integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during critical incidents.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and provide L3 support.
• 10+ years of Middleware Administration experience, with a focus on IBM WebSphere Liberty Profile.
• Proven track record in at least 2 IBM Liberty Upgrade/Migration projects.
• Expertise in Liberty Server Configuration, JVM Tuning, and Security Management.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting skills.
• Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
• Experience in production support environments is essential.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab is preferred.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics) is an asset.
• Understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture is beneficial.
• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS) can be an added advantage.
